Venture Momentum launched a new program providing start-up
entrepreneurs with the opportunity to purchase a small number of
consulting hours and pay for them in advance.

Who is this program available to?
It is available to early stage and/or bootstrapped technology
start-ups in the San Francisco Bay Area. Your start-up must
already be organized as a corporation before you can purchase the VMI Prepaid Services.

Why were VMI Prepaid Services created?
Early stage start-up entrepreneurs often worry about the cost of
financial consulting services and are uncomfortable with
engagements resulting in unpredictable charges. VMI Prepaid
Services allow them to select a preset number of consulting hours
that best fits their needs, pay for it in advance, and have the
services automatically stop when the consulting hours are fully
utilized.

How many hours of VMI Prepaid Services can I purchase?
There are three levels of VMI Prepaid Services:
Level 5 is
for 5 hours
Level 10 is
for 10 hours
Level 20 is
for 20 hours

How can I use the VMI Prepaid Services I
purchased?
Before signing up for the VMI Prepaid Services, please contact us
to discuss your needs and the scope of your project. We will then
suggest one of the VMI Prepaid Services Levels which best fits
your requirements. Following are examples of services you can use

What is the cost of the VMI Prepaid Services?
The cost depends on the Level and is as follows:
Level 5: $1,500
Level 10: $2,500
Level 20: $4,000

How much time do I have to use the VMI
Prepaid Services?
You may use the hours purchased as VMI Prepaid Services for a
period of 90 days from the date you purchased them. Unused hours
after the 90 day period will be lost and cannot be refunded.

How do I know how many hours are left on
the VMI Prepaid Services I purchased?
Once you have fully utilized the hours in your VMI Prepaid
Services, we will notify you. We will also send you a statement
shortly following the end of the month providing an account of the
hours used and the remaining balance, if any. Unless you purchase
additional hours of consulting, you will not be charged more than
the amount of your original purchase.

What if I use up all the hours I purchased
and still need more assistance?
We will discuss with you your future project needs and recommend a
Level that best suits your requirements.

How do I pay for the VMI Prepaid Services?
You may pay by check or by major credit card.

Instead of pre-paying for services, can’t I
just work with Venture Momentum and get billed at the end of the
month?
Venture Momentum does not typically engage with clients who only
need a few hours of consulting. The VMI Prepaid Services provide
you with the opportunity to tap into Venture Momentum’s expertise
even if it is for only a few hours. As your needs for financial
consulting grow to become larger or frequent, we are happy to
discuss with you engagements that are billed at the end of the
month.

Once we have determined that we are able to assist you with your
needs, we will provide you with a consulting agreement for your
review and execution. You will then pay for the services, and
we’ll start working together.
